Construction Sector

“The construction industry is the second largest employer in India after agriculture. It also accounts for about 11% of India’s GDP. The projected workforce requirement in construction is 83.27 million by 2022. LabourNet with its expertise is one of the largest skilling companies in construction sector and has been a pioneer in conducting Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) certification programs and other Skill Development programs for construction workers.

LabourNet provides skilling for in demand trades such as Bar Bending, Carpentry, Masonry, Electrician, Plumbing etc. It also runs specialized skilling programs for Supervisors and Engineers. Till date, LabourNet has trained more than 1.2 Lac trainees in 24+ locations spread across India.

LabourNet is a preferred partner and program implementing agency for various Government Organizations and Corporates. LabourNet is also a leading partner of NSDC & big corporates such as Tata Housing, Tata Projects, Godrej Properties, DLF, L&T, RMZ, Mantri, DMRC, HMRC etc.

Our skilling programs have made a direct & measurable impact on increasing on-site productivity levels, reducing wastages on site significantly, improving safety standards and coordination of work. In addition, our programs have helped create a better and confident worker with a nationally recognizable certification.

LabourNet aims not only to be the No. 1 skilling company for construction workers but also to be a significant contributor in providing livelihood. In doing so, LabourNet is presently working on new models and initiatives such as Micro Enterprises, Project Management Consultancy and in building India’s first 100% skilled and certified construction company.

LabourNet has volunteered for various flagships schemes of the Govt such as Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan under which it has constructed toilets for Schools in Hyderabad region. In addition, LabourNet has taken it as a mandate to train Rural India by imparting skills at the trainees door steps by being part of Pradhamnatri Gramin Awas Yojna and offering skill courses for Rural Masons

Furniture and Fitting Sector Skill Council

The sector currently employs over 4.11 million employees and is slated to employ more than 11.29 million employees by 2022. This implies additional creation of ~7.2 million jobs in the 9 year period. In view of this, LabourNet is working in Furniture and Fittings Sector by training over 3000 trainees in 10+ locations. LabourNet has joined hands with Godrej Interio, Urban Ladder, Home Lane who are prominent players in Furniture and Fitting sector. The trades of training were Modular Furniture Carpentry, Interior Carpentry and Helper Delivery Team.

Plumbing Sector

In Plumbing sector, LabourNet has trained over 1500 youth in 15+ locations. The training was given in majorly three trades namely Plumbing Apprentice Program, Plumbing and Plumber General Helper. Corporate such as House Joy, Tata Communications, Tata Housing , Eastern Coal Field Limited, Godrej, Union bank and ASAP Kerala funded joined hands with LabourNet for skill development of youth.
