“I am Anita Pandey, a daily wages labourer from Antapur, Balasore. I have learned to work on construction sites from my colleagues. LabourNet’s visit to our construction site gave me a chance to get an onsite training It was an interactive training and I found it quite useful. I learned about the different proportion of mixtures of sand and cement used for various purposes. The training also taught me about the types of bricks being used for construction, which I was not aware of. The best thing about the training was the safety features, which I loved to learn. The Use of safety equipment, especially safety shoes and gloves, was interesting. It protects my hands and feet from any injury caused by coming in direct contact with cement worksite. It helped me work efficiently”.
